A historical and cultural district
The Marais district owes its charm to its high quality architecture. Numerous private mansions, built in the 17th century, harmoniously make up the district, some of which are now classified as historical monuments. The district is also home to the Hotel de Ville, a majestic neo-renaissance building that can now welcome visitors. Not far away, you can also pass by the Place des Vosges, formerly known as Place Royale, which is sublime for its romanticism and its Renaissance-style architecture.
